FUNd Run moved to Sunday, July 5
Rain or shine tomorrow. The run is happening on Sunday no matter the weather — if it rains, we've got a backup plan and we'll move indoors to the auditorium.

Let deeds, not words, be your adorning.

— Bahá'u'lláh

That's what the FUNd Run is — kids doing the deed, neighbors backing them with real dollars, the whole community building the school together.

What your laps fund

Every dollar raised goes directly to the Southern Flame Bahá'í Summer School — five days of learning, worship, music, service, and friendship at the Warren Willis Conference Center on the lake in Fruitland Park, Florida.

Common questions

Does my kid have to fundraise to participate?
Not at all. Some kids fundraise; some just come and run because it's fun. Both are welcome.
How does the per-lap pledge work?
A sponsor commits an amount per lap your kid runs — say $1 a lap. If your kid runs 20 laps, that sponsor owes $20. You can also set a max so it doesn't get out of hand.
Can pledges come from out of town?
Absolutely — grandparents, cousins, anyone with a Venmo or check. We'll send the pledge sheet after registration so you can share it however you want.
How will I track my kid's laps on the day?
Every kid gets their own live page. Bookmark it and watch the lap count and money raised update in real time. See the running totals on the leaderboard.
Is the Summer School only for Bahá'ís?
No — it's open to all, regardless of background or belief. Anyone who wants to come learn, sing, study, and serve alongside the community is welcome. Your FUNd Run pledge helps it stay that way.
Where does the money actually go?
Directly to the 2026 Southern Flame Bahá'í Summer School — covering venue cost at Warren Willis Conference Center, program materials for the children's / junior youth / youth / adult tracks, food, music, and scholarships so cost doesn't keep anyone away.
Are scholarships available to attend?
Yes — scholarship applications are open for those who'd like help with the registration fee. Apply through this form ↗. Applicants are encouraged to contact their Local Spiritual Assembly first.
How do I register to attend the Summer School itself?
Summer School registration is separate from the FUNd Run. Visit southernflamebahaisummerschool.com ↗ for housing, fees, and the official registration link. Questions about attending: [email protected].
